Q. Why have I not heard of you before?
A. We are not big on advertising, most of our work is from word of mouth. We are very proud of our reputation and our customers makes us great.
Q. How much does your service cost?
A. £40 for the first half-hour, then £20 per half hour there after. Evening and weekend work is charged at a 50% premium.
Q. Does your price include materials?
A. No - materials are extra. Most customers use us as labour service only, but we are happy to resource parts for you if you needed. We add a 10% mark-up to parts we supply to reflect the fact that we are using our expertise to select and find the right materials for you as a customer.
Q. Do your handymen come with all the right tools?
A. Yes! All our handymen carry a full range of tools to tackle a huge number of different jobs.,
Q. Do you do free estimates?
A. Yes, we can give you a good idea over the telephone or on email of how long a job is likely to take. You can then book someone in, and when they arrive they will confirm or revise the guest-estimate based on what they find at the job. If it is clearly going to take a lot longer than expected, and you decide not to go ahead, we won’t charge you anything. If you are happy to go ahead then our handyman will do the job there and then. For larger jobs, like fitting a new bathroom, we would usually make a separate site visit first to give you an quote.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes, we carry £5m of public liability insurance.
Q. How quickly can you come out?
A. We really try and help on emergency service - most of the work we do is booked in a couple of days sometimes weeks in advance. We can often squeeze jobs in on the same day when they are booked, All though it is worth calling to check availability.
Q. Do you work weekends?
A. Yes, we work on Saturdays for which we charge a 50% premium over our usual rates. £60 for the first half-hour, then £30 per half hour there after
Q. Do you offer a 24hr service?
No - usual hours are 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. We can do jobs in the evening or on Saturdays for a 50% premium. Our office is open from 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Q. Do you have any CORGI registered engineers?
A. No. We are general handymen, who can all do a wide range of jobs, but we are not CORGI registered, so we don’t do any work with gas.
Q. Do you have any NICEIC accredited electricians?
A. No. We are general handymen, who can all do a wide range of jobs, but we limit our electrical work to replacement work only nothing new.
Q. How do you know that the handymen you employ are reliable?
A. First they are CRB Checked and cleared. We make sure they are polite and well presented; who are friendly and understand the importance of customer service. There may be some jobs that we can’t tackle, in which case we will always tell you.
Q. Will I have to wait in all day for your handyman to show up?
A. No - we give specific a time slot in which we aim to arrive. Should we be a little late, we will always call you well in advance to let you know our revised arrival time.
Q. How can I pay?
A. We accept cash, cheque, and BACS payments.

A. Yes, certainly. Many companies use us to take care of their everyday maintenance requirements.
